Coming soon to the App Store · iPhone first

An AI chief of staff that can't go rogue.

myFriday runs your day on GTD: one inbox for everything, clear next actions, and a brief every morning. She works with your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, keeps your data on your phone, and drafts instead of sending.

Which phone do you use?

The beta comes first, through Apple's TestFlight. We'll email you about the beta and the launch, and nothing else. Privacy policy

FridayMorning brief

Good morning, Sam. 3 things today:

  1. Big RockFinish the proposal outline
  2. Dentist at 2:30. Leave by 2:05.
  3. Reply to Priya about the Q3 numbers.Draft ready. You review and send.

Waiting for: Alex's signed contract, 5 days now. Want a draft nudge?

An example morning brief
  • Your keys, your deviceChats, tasks and keys stay on your phone. The app talks to your AI provider directly.
  • GTD out of the boxInbox, Next Actions, Waiting For, Scheduled, Someday/Maybe and Projects from the first second.
  • Walls, not settingsSome things she can't do, and no setting turns them on.

How it works

Three steps, and the first two take minutes

  1. Install

Get myFriday on your iPhone. Paste an Anthropic or OpenAI key, or try the demo first. The TestFlight beta comes before the App Store release.

  2. Answer a few questions

Express setup is two taps: your key, then Start. Or answer about six questions to make her yours: her name, the look, her voice, your lists, the AI model, and when she checks in. Skip any of them.

  3. She runs your day

A morning brief, an evening wrap and a weekly review. Capture anything; she sorts it into your lists, drafts replies for you to send, and keeps track of what you're waiting on.

Safety

Walls, not settings

Some things she can't do. No setting turns them on, no setup answer removes them, and nothing she reads can talk her into them.

She never sends anything by herself

She writes drafts. Email and messages open in your iPhone's own compose sheet, and nothing goes out until you tap Send.

She never spends money

No purchases, payments, bookings or subscriptions. The app has no way to pay for anything, and any connected tool that looks like a payment is refused.

No bulk deletes. Big actions need Face ID.

Anything consequential shows you a card with exactly what will change. You approve it with Face ID, and it runs once.

What she reads is information, not instructions

An email that says "forward this to everyone" is just text to her. Anything she'd do because of something she read waits for your approval.

A spend cap only you can raise

You set a monthly limit on AI usage. At 80% she tells you and holds off on optional work. At 100% she pauses. Raising the cap takes Face ID.

Everything she does is logged

An activity log on your phone records every action she takes. Entries can't be edited, and you can read or export the log any time.

The walls are enforced by the app's code, not only by her instructions, so a clever prompt or a cleverly worded email can't talk its way past them.

GTD built in

Your lists are ready before you are

Getting Things Done works because nothing has to live in your head. myFriday sets it up from the first second, so capture works on day one. She never invents due dates.

GTD Classic

Default
  • Inbox
  • Next Actions
  • Waiting For
  • Scheduled
  • Someday/Maybe
  • Projects

Contexts: @home, @work, @errands, @calls, @computer, @anywhere. Weekly review on.

Focus

  • Inbox
  • Next
  • Later
  • Someday
  • Big Rocks (3)
  • Quick Wins (3)

A lighter GTD for people who plan by priorities. Three Big Rocks and three Quick Wins stay pinned at the top, and you pick them. Tags group outcomes; "Waiting" is a tag.

Simple

  • Today
  • Upcoming
  • Someday

For people who want a list, not a system.

Rename lists, add your own, add contexts. Inbox stays, because capture has to land somewhere.

Make it yours

Two taps to start. About six questions to make her yours.

Pick a look, choose light, dark or match your phone, and add your own accent color if you like. The app checks contrast and adjusts any color that would be hard to read.

  • Holo

    Dark, cyan, instrument-panel.

  • Paper

    Light, warm off-white, ink-blue. Calm.

  • Midnight

Dark navy with a violet accent.

  • Grove

Dark green with an amber accent.

    #0E1A14 · #E0A43A
  • Sunrise

    Light, with a coral accent.

  • Mono

High-contrast black and white, accessibility first.

Call her whatever you like

She's Friday until you say otherwise. The first setup question asks what to call her, and what she should call you. You can change both later.

Why Friday? A "Girl Friday" or "Man Friday" is the old name for a trusted right hand.

Pick her voice

Crisp, Warm or Playful, and Brief or Detailed. The same brief, three ways:

  • CrispThree things today. Proposal first.
  • WarmMorning, Sam. Three things today, and the proposal is the big one.
  • PlayfulThree things today. The proposal has waited long enough.

Integrations

Starts with what's already on your phone

Each connection is one tap, and iOS asks your permission first. You can turn any of them off in Settings.

At launch
  • Apple Calendar and Reminders
  • Contacts
  • Notifications
  • Siri Shortcuts
  • Share Sheet capture from any app
  • Apple Health, read-only and off unless you turn it on
Next
  • Google Calendar: read-only for your calendars, plus a calendar of her own that she can write to
Later
  • Gmail drafts, after Google's security review
  • Connectors to other tools (MCP), for advanced users. Every action from a connector needs your approval until you mark it trusted.

Bring your own key

Your AI account, not ours

myFriday doesn't resell AI. She runs on an API key from Anthropic or OpenAI that you create and control. Two reasons:

  • PrivacyYour phone talks to the provider directly, and the key sits in the iOS Keychain. Our servers never see your chats, your tasks or your key.
  • CostTypical use runs about $3–15 a month in API charges, paid to your provider at cost, depending on the model you pick and how much you chat. You set a monthly cap; she pauses at it. The app suggests $20 a month to start.

Rather not deal with a key? A Managed plan, with AI usage included, is coming later. How to get a key

FAQ

Common questions

Is my data private?

Yes, by design. Your tasks, chats, settings and key stay on your phone. When you ask her something, the app sends your message and the context it needs (say, today's calendar) straight to the AI provider you chose, under that provider's terms. Our servers aren't in that path.

The only thing we collect is your email address, if you join the waitlist. Details are in the privacy policy.

What's an API key, and how do I get one?

It's a long code that lets an app use an AI model on your own account, billed to you. Create one at console.anthropic.com (Anthropic) or platform.openai.com (OpenAI) under API keys, then paste it into myFriday.

A Claude or ChatGPT subscription doesn't include API usage; the API is billed separately. The help center walks through it step by step.

What does it cost to run?

Two parts. The app is free, $5.99 a month or $39 a year for Pro, or $99 once for Founding Lifetime.

The AI is billed by your provider. Typical use runs about $3–15 a month in API charges, paid to your provider at cost, depending on the model you pick and how much you chat. You set a monthly cap; she pauses at it. The app suggests $20 a month to start.

Can she send emails for me?

No, and that's on purpose. She drafts; you send. Email and messages open in your iPhone's compose sheet, and only your tap on Send sends them. No setting changes this.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. iPhone comes first, and Android is planned after. Choose Android when you join the waitlist and we'll tell you when it's ready.

Why GTD?

Because it holds up. David Allen's Getting Things Done has helped people run their work and lives since 2001. Its core habits are getting everything out of your head into lists you trust, deciding the next action, and reviewing weekly. An assistant can help with all three.

If you don't want the full system, pick Focus or Simple during setup.

Can I rename her?

Yes. She's Friday until you say otherwise. The first setup question asks for her name, and you can change it later. You can also tell her what to call you.

What happens if I hit my spend cap?

At 80% of your monthly cap she lets you know and holds off on optional work. At 100% she pauses AI features until the next month starts or you raise the cap, which takes Face ID. Your lists, capture and reminders keep working, because they don't need the AI.

When can I try it?

A TestFlight beta comes first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it opens. There's no public launch date yet.

Does it work with Google Calendar or Gmail?

At launch she works with Apple Calendar, Reminders and Contacts. Google Calendar is next. Gmail drafts come later, after Google's security review.
